Join Us for an Informational Meeting on the Universal Onboarding Course & Process

Posted 26 days ago

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to join us virtually on either Tuesday, June 14 at 12 pm or Thursday, June 23 at 12 pm to learn about the statewide implementation of an online Universal Onboarding system for prelicensure nursing students. Students lose valuable clinical experiences due to repeatedly completing accrediting bodies’ and regulatory agencies' mandatory hospital training requirements at each clinical site. In response, the Nursing Workforce Center received an NSP II grant to develop statewide, standardized onboarding training materials students can complete before their first clinical experience and then annually until the completion of their program. The MONL, Inc./MNRC agreed to partner with the Center to administer these materials.

We will present the project, implementation process, nursing program, hospital, and MNRC responsibilities in preparation for the Go Live in August. The goal of this presentation is to answer questions about the Universal Onboarding course (adding additional modules recommended by the hospital reviewers), hospital specific materials, and implementation process. You may find the presentation on the MONL, Inc. website for downloading and viewing.

Please distribute this invitation widely to ensure all key people in your organization are aware of this information and Q&A session.

Thank you for taking the time to attend. We look forward to your questions.
