MACNS Prescriptive Authority

As of May 2023, the Clinical Nurse Specialists in Maryland obtained prescriptive authority and the law went into effect on October 1st, 2023. This is an exciting time as this change provides additional providers to care for the citizens of Maryland.
Here is a letter and checklist from the Maryland Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists for implementing Clinical Nurse Specialists prescriptive authority:
